[Gary Green] WHEN MIDNIGHT COMES AROUND

A collection of works by American photographer Gary Green . At the beginning of 1976 , the artist became obsessed with the burgeoning downtown New York music scene . We have continued to document the most iconic musicians and people.

Among the photographs in this book are Andy Warhol , Joey Ramone , Richard Hell , Patti Smith and Tom Waits . It captures important people who witnessed that era in the history of music, and shows a unique perspective of "a certain place" and "time" whose influence on music and culture cannot be overestimated.
