Description
The GT-II was released in 1986 as an upgraded model of the "X-CALIBER GT", which appeared in 1982 as the top model in the running category for the European and American markets. It marks a milestone in performance today as it was the first shoe to distribute GEL technology outside of Japan.
To commemorate the 35th anniversary of its appearance, we will adopt the original shape and reproduce it. Staying true to its origins, the design features the original outer sole, external heel counter and GEL technology under the heel.
This model is a representative work of Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) and is inspired by "Tokaido Yoshida" from "Thirty-six Views of Mt. It is a rare attempt to depict Mt.Fuji that can be seen through the interior of the room. Various people are vividly depicted, such as a man and a woman on the road taking a rest at a teahouse with a good view of Mt.Fuji, people fixing straw sandals, and a teahouse maid in the center. Drawn.
