Description

Davide Sorrenti was a fashion photographer who passed away in 1997 at the age of 20. This book is a collection of private Polaroid photos taken by Davide between 1994 and 1997. David, the father of the ``heroin chic'' aesthetic that had a huge impact on the fashion world in the 1990s, has been reevaluated in recent years. But David was also a true B-boy. When he was a teenager, he formed the crew ``SKE (See Know Evil)'' with friends who were skaters and graffiti writers, and tagged them around town with the tag name ``Argue.'' He also formed the rap group The Mosaics with members of his crew and launched the street brand Danücht, demonstrating that his talent and imagination were so full that they couldn't be confined to any specific genre.
The book was edited and designed by her mother, Francisca Sorrenti. "Although it's been nearly 25 years since he passed away, his love for his personality and work continues. This year, while in lockdown, I looked at his Polaroids and watched his passing. I remembered all my life and I knew that my next book should be a collection of these moments.'' (Francesca Sorrenti)
