The design of “sk manor hill” is inspired by vintage wear and traditional silhouettes from all over the world. Careful craftsmanship and attention to detail are key to making clothes. All items are made in New York using natural fibers and materials sourced primarily from Europe and Japan. “sk manor hill” creates clothes with deep respect for long-lasting quality, timeless design, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Designer Dominic Sondag graduated from his hometown of San Francisco, California with a degree in graphic design, before studying fashion design in Florence, Italy. Experiencing the rich craftsmanship culture of Florence, Sondag was impressed by the Italians' understanding of fashion, art, history and crafts.
He started his fashion design career in Europe working for the design team of Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop in London. In 2012, he moved to New York City to work on the design development team for Engineered Garments' designer Daiki Suzuki, gaining a deep knowledge of vintage clothing. And now we come.
