A collection of works by British photographer Paul Misso. This book is a collection of works that record the second edition of the Glastonbury Festival, an outdoor music festival representing the UK, in which the Pyramid Stage appeared. ing.

The Glastonbury Festival is a large-scale outdoor music festival that has been held in Pilton, Somerset, England since 1970. In the summer of 1971, the artist was invited by British film director Nicolas Roeg, known for such films as The Man Who Fell To Earth and The Red Shadow starring David Bowie, to Glastonbury. Participated. The author was the chauffeur of actress Julie Christie at the time. Director Rogue was planning to make a film about the festival, and the author was supposed to take pictures. Rogue, who shot the film, claimed to have " captured " the moment by looking at the author's photographs, but he himself did not. In the end, the film was shelved, and these photographs were about to be lost in the passage of time, but they were finally made public with the publication of this book.

Rather than being a collection of photographs of performing artists such as Hawkwind, Traffic, David Bowie, and Fairport Convention, this book was called the "Glastonbury Fair" at the time. An intimate portrait of 12,000 spectators who attended a free event called "Glastonbury Fayre".

" After the festival, we selected about 160 slides from the 7,000 photos we took, put them in two Kodak carousel slide trays, and shot them at Nick's home for his birthday in August for him and the producers. At the end of the slideshow, Nick looked at me with tears in his eyes and said very emotionally, 'Paul, you got it, I didn't.' With his abandonment of the film adaptation, my photographs were wasted and shelved for years. "

Dee Palmer (former keyboardist for British rock band Jethro Tull) and I are people who want to stay in our apartment in Hammersmith three or four times a week. Or, for those who missed it, they had a nightly screening.
