Living in California.
Raymond, a professional skater who has appeared in numerous skating films, discovered his passion for photography in 2004. His works, shot using 35mm, medium, large and Polaroid cameras, are portraits, advertising, street, and more. Scenery and delicately expressed. In particular, his work using Polaroid, which is his pronoun, is a wonderful photograph that uses a large format 8 x 10 camera and has a unique texture, gentleness and nostalgia. These days, photographic film itself is out of print and it is very difficult to get your hands on it casually due to soaring prices. He opened his own studio in Los Angeles earlier this year, and is currently under construction, working with actor and professional skater Jason Lee to open a camera shop in a former motel. There is no doubt that it will be an important shop when people who take pictures with film visit Los Angeles. Through this magazine, we will deliver a part of his busy work with a wonderful sense of the world and his daily life.
Misato Suzuki

The first time I saw her work was the artwork printed on the UMA LANDSLEDS skate deck. My eyes stopped, and when I looked up the author, I found Mr. Misato's name. I still vividly remember being shocked by the wonderful work on the official released board by a Japanese person. After that, I was curious about what kind of activities you were doing, so I sent you a DM asking if I could put together a special feature in this issue. It was a wonderful place with air and love. When I talked to her while shooting, she told me that she used to work at Girl Skateboards while also directing a women's brand and continuing her art activities. Misato's collaboration deck and that doll! I'm a Girl lover who has ridden many Girl decks and has been influenced by many video works. He has lived and worked in the United States since he was a university student. His paintings have been featured in galleries around the world, including solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada and Japan. His work integrates nature and culture, connects modern life with the living world, and is influenced by his time spent in Aomori, close to the sea, surrounded by forests and green everywhere. In this issue, we are introducing just a few of his works and his wonderful family and space.
