This book features two Belmond hotels in Portofino, Liguria, and introduces 24 classic dishes inspired by the kitchens of the Splendido, located on a hill overlooking the harbor, and the Splendido Mare, an annex located in Piazzetta Square.

Delving into the ingredients, people and history that make this rugged coastline so irresistibly appealing, the book also features vibrant photography by photographer Laura Jane Coulson and essays by chef and food writer Andy Baraghani, chef Corrado Corti, culture writer, editor and photographer Gilda Bruno and food historian and author Luca Cesari.
