LAMROF - VERSATILE PYJAMA JACKET - BLUE CHECK

This new pajama shirt jacket is made from a finely brushed cotton flannel fabric (BLACK) that has undergone a special washing process, and a mini-check fabric (BLUE CHECK) that recreates vintage textiles but without the raised nap.

Starting from a vintage pajama shirt, we made significant improvements. We removed the piping, simplified the pattern structure with two-piece sleeves and a flat 3-fold hem, and used many three-dimensional curves around the shoulders and body to eliminate casual elements, creating a distinctive silhouette. By sewing it in a Japanese shirt factory, we ensured it doesn't feel too heavy, treating it as an extension of a shirt rather than a blouson. In addition to its practicality as a single outerwear piece, it's designed so that the front pockets are hidden when worn tucked in with matching pajama pants, allowing for a jumpsuit-like style.

This piece thoroughly pursues a high level of perfection, balancing elegance and practicality with forward-angled sleeve design for layering over cut-and-sew tops or shirts, a three-fold sleeve hem finish, and sleeve attachment and arm patterns that allow outer layers to be smoothly worn over it.
