The original graphic is inspired by the Black Panther Party, a political organization that was seen as carrying on the legacy of Malcolm X and was a symbolic presence in the Black liberation movement of the 1960s, which sought rights and social justice for African Americans. The graphic captures the transient nature of the party, which, despite its various approaches to counterculture at the time and its astonishing power, disappeared in just 10 years.

The words "Black Panther" are rendered in Arabic, a unique Lamrof expression that differentiates it from the original designs of the time.
