【EYEVAN】MATEO - DBE

This model is inspired by the style of young, contemporary actors in 1960s Hollywood. Building on that image, we designed it to capture the vibe of young people gathering nightly in the DTLA Arts District. While the front remains impeccably simple and understated, the use of 8mm thick material updates it with a modern presence. For the temples, we chose sun platinum for its excellent reproduction of design and strength, molding the parts through a pressing process that is more than three times as extensive as usual. The sunglasses feature original CR39 4-curve lenses.
