[DANNY FOX, KINGSLEY IFILL] HOLY ISLAND

A collection of works by British artist Danny Fox and British photographer and artist Kingsley Ifill.

In December 2021, the authors embarked on an eight-day journey across the British Isles. Starting near Dover in Kent, it traveled north along the east coast to the Isle of Skye in Scotland, returning via the West Midlands, Wales and many other places. Rather than following a set route, it was a journey of discovery guided by intuition and one's own will. . This book consists of more than 50 works combining photography by Ifil and paintings by Fox. It is a visual travelogue of the authors' time spent together and an exploration of the cross-sections of the cities and countryside that make up Britain today. This photographer-painter collaboration traces the contours of England and reveals its fraying.
