This is the 2026 SS colorway of the GEL-NYC, known for being designed under the supervision of Angelo Baque, founder of "AWAKE NY."

The upper is based on the GEL-NIMBUS 3, incorporating various embellishments from the MC-PLUS V. Furthermore, the sole uses the tooling system of the GEL-CUMULUS 16, creating a retro feel with a contrasting look, resulting in a shoe that combines heritage and modern running styles.

This time, the upper, mesh lining, and ASICS stripes feature different materials, creating a finish characterized by a sense of three-dimensionality and depth. Additionally, the exquisite color scheme features a calm BLACK × CEMENT GRAY with bronze accents in key areas. This shoe has a strong presence and pairs well with shorts.
