ARIES

The British contemporary brand "Aries", which started in 2012, is inspired by the youth movement against mass consumption and the 80's era when "street" was fashion and vice versa. It is a brand that combines culture and luxury.

Designer Sofia Maria Prantera grew up in Rome to British and Italian parents, studied fashion at Central Saint Martins before working at the legendary Slam City Skates in London, where she achieved a cult following. He started his career as a designer of the brand “Holms”, which boasted of
"Holms" later became "Silas" and achieved great success in the late 90's and 2000's, after which Sofia provided graphics to numerous brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, JW Anderson, Stella McCartney, PALACE SKATE BOARDS. He also teamed up with graphic designer Fergus “Fergadelic” Purcell to launch “Aries”.

Patterns are the most important part of the design process for Aries. In order to create original shapes, he breaks the rules of conventional patterns and pursues to create a simple style without losing originality.
In addition, Aries is committed to being 'ethical' in production, and all production is done in Italy and England, which are the roots of the designer.
