A fashion and culture magazine by Christopher Niquet, a French editor, writer and stylist based in New York. Each issue focuses on the opinions and works of one artist, photographer, talent, and writer. Christopher Niquet has worked behind the scenes for designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix and Anna Molinari, and has been featured inVanity Fair.magazine, editor ofELLE Francemagazine and stylist ofSelf Service magazine.
The art direction ishandled by the creative agency "Petronio Associates" led by Ezra Petronio, editor-in-chief of " Self Service ". Each issue has a different design as a collector's item for people who love fashion, art, and books.
The first issue focuses on the photographic work of Swiss model Vivienne Rohner. Since October 2021, Vivian has always held a camera in her interactions with the luxury brand "CHANEL". Airports, hotel rooms, waiting rooms, fittings, walks with my dog Skipper, fashion shows, advertising campaigns. Her camera never left her side. Christopher Niquet has long admired her aesthetic and the way she carries it with her in everything from the clothes she wears to her modeling career, books, music and movies.
This magazine contains a beautiful and abstract portrait of her bond with Chanel. Like fellow photographer Vivian Maier, she uses her surroundings to capture emotional landscapes rather than putting herself at the forefront. It tells the big story of a young woman finding herself through the mundane: reminiscences, blank spaces, blurred landscapes of crowds, and the minutiae of everyday life.
