Based on the last of REGAL's classic saddle shoes, these NANAMICA bespoke pairs have been updated with a wide and rounded shape to fit Japanese feet.
The upper is made of matte cowhide tanned by “Sanyo”, a leading domestic tanner, that blends in as you wear it. It has improved durability and flexibility, and has a unique look with just the right amount of oil, and uses waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex fabric as a layer.
The sole uses the "Ridgeway sole" from Halboro Rubber in the UK. It has high cushioning and grip properties, lightens the burden on your feet even when walking for a long time, and supports walking on rough roads.
The design features a switch that makes you think of US.NAVY service shoes, fine stitching that gives a traditional impression, and small eyelets.
The upper and lining are sandwiched between the ribs attached to the top and inside sole and sewn together, so the "Goodyear welt manufacturing method" is adopted, which does not directly connect the upper and sole.
The sole can be replaced, maintenance is easy, and you can use it for a long time.
Comes with an original shoe bag specially made for this collaboration.
