"Apartamento", an interior magazine published twice a year, was launched in 2008 from Spain. The cover of the 29th issue is Alice Mackler, an American artist and ceramist who has been based in New York for a long time. In the background of the house he has lived in since 1979, another New York-based photographer Heather Sten takes a picture. We also interviewed Jocko Weyland, a photographer, writer, and skateboarder living in New York, who is one of Apartamento's long-standing trustees.
Each issue has a different design on the spine, designed by Reza Shafahi, an artist based in Tehran, Iran. After retiring from professional wrestling, at the age of 72, his son and fellow artist Mamali Shafahi started drawing, and the first interview with both of them is also posted.
